They called it thin skinned. Oversensitive. Too emotional for the room. They handed you the language of pathology for what was actually a finely calibrated instrument - a nervous system doing exactly what it was built to do.

Sensitivity isn’t a wound you carry. It’s a frequency most people can’t receive.

The women who feel everything aren’t broken receivers. They’re the ones picking up the signal everyone else has learned to ignore - the grief in the room, the unspoken thing, the shift before the storm. That’s not a liability. That’s a gift that came with a very high cost.
